Show the following two scenes from Raise the Red Lantern and The Last Emperor, both of which were analyzed in the chapter students were asked to read. Ask the students to analyze and explain the use of color in these scenes.
Later, show these images from An Education and Drive, and ask the students to explain what types of color contrast are evident.
Use the following videos from The Wizard of Oz, Pleasentville and The Matrix to continue identifying and explaining color contrasr.
